8610 MFP basic features include printing, scanning, and faxing, including through the network. It can also work as a standalone copier and fax machine, and can either scan to and print from USB memory key.
The printer also provides mobile printing, with the ability to print from iOS, Android, and Blackberry phones and tablets. Connect to your network with Ethernet or Wi-Fi, and you can print to it even though the Wi-Fi access point. Set it up as a personal printer with a USB cable instead, and you can print by connecting directly from a mobile device using HP Direct-equivalent Wireless for Wi-Fi Direct. Noting that connect the printer to a network connected to the Internet also allows you to print even if the clouds and take advantage of HP print apps.
